Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes are measurable statements that describe knowledge or skills achieved by students upon completion of the program.
Students graduating from this program will be able to:
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity with particular knowledge and understanding of the Alaskan rural community contexts, cultures, and relevant issues
- Have a generalist understanding of human service ethics
- Obtain vocational, technical, career training and education at associate degree levels; and which meets workforce recognized credentialing
- Examine, investigate, and interpret a variety of concepts concerned with the study of the social life of groups and individuals useful to human service providers and implement appropriate counseling skills
