Disability Services

Disability Services strives to ensure universal access to classes, coursework, housing, programs and activities. UAF has designated Disability Services to determine reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities. Accommodations are free and available to any student who is enrolled in at least 1 credit hour or registered for a university-sponsored program and qualifies as an individual with a disability, chronic illness, pregnancy or temporary condition.

UAF Disability Services serves students who are enrolled in classes at the Troth Yeddha' campus in Fairbanks, as well as the Bristol Bay, Chukchi, Interior Alaska, Kuskokwim, Northwest, and Community and Technical College campuses, eCampus and the College of Indigenous Studies.

Disability Services uses an interactive process designed to be convenient for students. It starts with a simple conversation. Our first goal is to better understand your unique experience. We then partner with faculty and staff to provide academic, university housing, dining and programmatic accommodations.
