Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcomes are specific, measurable statements that define the knowledge and skills students will gain by the end of the program.

Graduates of this program will be able to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and academic efficacy (critical thinking, computation, computer literacy, job-related work experience, interpersonal skills) necessary for entry-level human service professionals
  • Be exposed to best practices in current and emerging topics within areas such as chemical dependency, behavioral health, case management, family and social issues
  • Be well prepared for further study leading to an associate degree and/or be satisfactorily employed in a human services setting and/or providing services within their community
  • Qualify/meet most of the qualifications for CDC I occupational endorsement and Behavioral Health Aide II certification
