Upon completion of the Health Care Reimbursement Certificate, students are prepared to sit for the following through the American Academy of Professional Coders:
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC)® certification
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB)® certification
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC)® + Certified Professional Biller (CPB)® dual certifications

Upon completion of the Health Care Reimbursement Certificate, students are prepared to sit for the following through the American Health Information Management Association:
- Certified Coding Associate
- Certified Coding Specialist
- Certified Coding Specialist- Physician-based
