As part of the certificate requirements, the communication, human relations and computation contents are embedded in the major required courses for this program.

Upon completion of the Diesel/Heavy Equipment Certificate, students are prepared to sit for the ASE Diesel Engine Tests (A9, H2, S2, or T2) through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
