As part of the certificate requirements, the communication, computation and human relations content are embedded in the major required courses for this program.

Upon completion of the Automotive Technology Certificate, students are prepared to sit for the Auto Maintenance and Light Repair (MLR) through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
