Enrollment only following completion of piano proficiency requirements. Requirements can be met either by exam OR by the Functional Piano series (MUS F152, MUS F153, MUS F154, MUS F155).

Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcomes are measurable statements that describe knowledge or skills achieved by students upon completion of the program.

Students graduating from this program will be able to:

  • Sight sing and take rhythmic and melodic dictation of tonal and chromatic harmony

  • Demonstrate performance skills on their major instrument
