To graduate, all students must complete 39 upper-division credits. Some of these will be covered by the upper-division required courses for the film and performing arts B.A., but not all of them. Film and performing arts students will need to take upper-division electives (in film and performing arts or other disciplines) to complete the upper-division requirement.

All FLPA majors will participate in 4 credits of practicum hours, 1 of which will be in FLPA F402. Courses are variable 1-3 credits and additional credits can be applied to the concentration. 1 credit of practicum is equal to 39 hours of effort.

All FLPA majors will participate in FLPA F190, then may select annually audition and/or reel/portfolio review. Students will need a total of four semesters participation in professional practices in order to graduate.
