General Statement

The University of Alaska does not have policy dictating access to gendered areas such as restrooms. Gender-neutral facilities are available in some buildings. Students, staff, faculty and campus guests are asked to behave respectfully when utilizing shared spaces. If a user has specific claims or allegations of discrimination, safety, or harassment to raise, they can be filed with ORCA, and UAF will handle them in accordance with its standard discrimination, harassment, and safety review practices.
