Minor

The minor in tribal governance provides students with the skills and knowledge needed for positions within tribal, local, and community governments and organizations across Alaska. The tribal governance program provides students with fundamental knowledge of tribal governance, law, policy and management through academic and hands-on education and training in subject areas important to tribal governments. The curriculum gives students a foundation to apply the knowledge gained in their majors to tribal and community governance and management contexts.

Minimum Requirements for Tribal Governance Minor: 15 credits
